I love these emoji (or smileys) that got used on a lot of forums in the past; particularly the most basic, flat colored, sharp pixelated ones. So I collected a bunch and customized / optimized them so they felt unified with each other and my site theme.

Since the original versions of these are old and they got shared all over the place, I don't know the original source of any of these gifs. These were iterated on for years. I found most of these gifs (or at least the base I added to) from GifCities. Help yourself to these variants if you want.

Some are modified more than others. I like having them loop. If you want to customize color yourself, its pretty easy. I used Piskel (the offline version). It has a lot of features that make editing pixel art gifs convenient.
